It is with great sadness that we mourn the untimely passing of Rhonda Desha Adams-McClain ~ loving mother, daughter, sister and grandmother ~ on March 7, 2011.

Rhonda was born on March 22, 1969 in Flint, Michigan, and attended school in Arizona.  She married Terry McClain on August 11, 1990, and worked as a legal secretary.  They later built a successful business together in the high desert.  Rhonda was adept in modeling designer fashions and strutted the runway with attitude and professionalism. She was well known for her excellent cooking, and brought so much life to every family gathering.   Her wit and her laughter will be sorely missed.  She was an exceptional woman with qualties that far surpassed her years, and a heart that was always open to the needs of others.

Rhonda is survived by the love of her life, Terry McClain; her parents, Penny Adams of Victorville and Gail Adams of Michigan; daughters, Brittiany (Jason) Walker of Fontana and Savannah McClain of Rialto; brothers, John Wietfeldt of Phoenix, Arizona and Richard (Michelle) Case of Mesa, Arizona; sisters, April Gutierrez of Phoenix, Arizona and Teresa (Carlos) Carreon of Lehi, Utah; grandchildren, Jaylynn and Jason Oris Walker Jr., special uncle, Terry Kidd of Mesa, Arizona and numerous nieces, nephews and a countless number of friends.

The family will accept guests for viewing on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 6-9 PM at Forrest Lawn Mortuary, 12300 Via Verde Dr., Covina, California.  Services will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11 AM at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 2343 N. San Antonio Av., Pomona, California woth graveside sevices immediately following.
